faManager keeps your tangible capital asset register: what each asset cost, its amortization calculated to the day, its net book value, and where it is. Send us the spreadsheet you use now and we'll import it for you.

Sample data. Opening + additions − disposals = closing.
A lot of municipalities keep their tangible capital asset register in a spreadsheet that one person maintains. It holds up most of the year. Then the auditor asks why a closing balance doesn't tie to last year's, or council asks what the town office roof cost, or the person who built the file retires.
In faManager, amortization comes from one calculation instead of a column of formulas, each edit is logged under the name of the person who made it, and your auditor can have a read-only login.
The summary report rolls every asset class forward: opening cost and accumulated amortization, additions, disposals, amortization for the year and amortization on disposals, through to closing net book value.
Run it for any date range and export it to PDF or CSV. Separate additions and disposals reports list the individual assets behind each number, so the auditor can trace a total back to the grader that made it.
A $385,000 grader bought June 15, 2026, amortized straight-line over 20 years, gets 199 days of amortization in 2026: $10,495.21. A half-year convention would book $9,625.00. faManager amortizes by the days you owned the asset; it doesn't apply half-year or full-month conventions.
Everyone signs in as themselves with a Viewer, Editor, Admin or Owner role, and every change to an asset is logged with their name and the date. When your finance clerk retires, the register stays behind.
Attach photos and PDF invoices to each asset, record where it lives (Public Works yard, fire hall, lagoon), and print QR tags that open the asset's record when scanned. Add your own fields, like a condition rating.
Record the sale of the old tandem and faManager works out the gain or loss and drafts the disposal journal entry. Periodic amortization entries are grouped by category with your GL codes.
We match your columns to faManager's, go over the result with you before anything is saved, and carry forward the amortization you've already booked, so your opening balances agree with last year's statements.
If some rows are missing a date or a cost, like the town office roof, we'll send you the list of gaps to fill in before the move.

A current register puts a schedule by asset class in front of council at budget time: what the municipality owns, what it cost, and how much of its book value is left, without anyone rebuilding a spreadsheet the week before.
Municipalities use the same plans as everyone else.
Prices in CAD, billed annually; monthly billing is also available. Need to pay by invoice? Ask us. The spreadsheet import is included.
Compare all plansWe'll show you a sample municipality's register, amortization and year-end schedule, and answer questions about moving your own data over. Tell us how you track your assets now and we'll aim the demo at that.
